[Even under the artificial calm, a flinch flickers across her face when Vicious comes so close. When Mei Lin uses the word, though, her attention diverts from him to something... else while the visible wounds and bruises begin to heal, leaving her at least externally whole, if still bloodied.]

How...

[She licks her lips and the thing clutched to her chest is revealed to be a small box with a few buttons on it that she pushes without looking at it, after which the blankness leaves her expression to be replaced by a certain wonderment.]

How did you do that?
